The main area is smaller but I love the height of the ceiling and how it is angled to make the room feel more spacious. We maximized the living area with lots of comfortable seating for guests. We took out the fireplace, flooring, all the cheap vinyl blinds, the old lighting, and of course all the decor/furniture. It was nice to start from scratch. Added the beams/shiplap ceiling, new fireplace, flooring, and fresh paint went a LONG ways in this space as you can see the after just how much cleaner and fresh it feels. We really wanted the space to feel like a mountain condo since that is where it is located right by the ski lift in the mountains and I think we were able to achieve just that!

Can you believe how much the beams add to the space, that was the biggest splurge to the space and I feel like it was definitely worth it.
The coffee table was the ONLY piece of furniture we kept from the original furniture and I just sanded it down.
This is the entryway, we got the hooks, mirror and a small bench (what every little entryway needs of course!)
Flooring is from Reward Flooring, we are so SO happy with the quality. We used the same flooring in hardwood at my Aunt’s home. We went with the engineered flooring so it would be water proof and be able to withstand renters.
The sofa is beyond PERFECT! I really love how it is made locally we had it made by Salt Sofa. The depth is right on, not to deep you can’t get out of but SO comfortable. The fabric is very durable and will be great in the long haul to withstand natural ware.
